CATECHIST TRAINING

Training for new and experienced Catechists is arranged at the request of individual parishes or deaneries. 

Training can take the form of day workshops or short courses of evening sessions, usually six.  Formation for catechists is often organised for two groups.  Firstly, for those who have been engaged in this role for some time and wish to renew or update themselves.  Secondly, for new catechists who require development of basic knowledge and skills.
