HANDMADE IN HALLAM
As readers of the Hallam News may have read, an art and craft exhibition, HANDMADE IN HALLAM, to celebrate the Silver Jubilee of the Diocese, is to be held at:
Holy Rood Parish Centre
George Street
Barnsley
on
Saturday 21st May 2005 from 10am - 4pm
Sunday 22nd May 2005 from 12.15pm - 5.30pm
This will be followed by a Songs of Praise celebration in Holy Rood Church at 6pm.
The exhibition is to celebrate the wealth of gifts and talents of all the people of the diocese. It is hoped, to encourage as many people as possible to exhibit items that they have made - needlework, art, woodwork, writing/poetry, floral arrangements, jam - in fact anything that they have made themselves.
I would like also for you to visit the exhibition to see what other people have made in the diocese and the craft demonstrations that will be running all weekend. It will also be an opportunity for people to meet old friends and new over a cup of tea.

Exhibits are accepted at the owner's risk although every effort will be made to ensure their safety.
Items must be accompanied with the coupon from Hallam News.
There is no selection procedure, but we reserve the right to reject anything deemed unsuitable.
Exhibits may be handed in at the following venues on Saturday 7th May 2005 between 11am and 1pm:-
Hallam
Pastoral Centre.
St Peter's in Chains, Chequer Road, Doncaster.
St Mary's, Worksop.
St Mary's Herringthorpe.
Annunciation, Chesterfield.
Holy Rood, Barnsley.
