Since the assembly two years ago, the Building Parish Community Sector has been meeting regularly and exchanging news and ideas from all around the Diocese.

Now we are able to announce an exciting workshop day led By Fr Ken O’Riorden and Paula Bailey of the Nottingham Diocese.  The day, entitled “People, Parish and Priest,” is to be held at St Joseph’s Convent School, Newbold Road, Chesterfield on Saturday, 19^th November 2005 from 10 am – 4 pm.

The day will look at “The Challenge of Working Together” and “From Theory to Practice” with lots of practical ideas and information plus structured discussion in small groups.  In all, it promises to be a very useful day for all involved.

We would like to invite you and up to five of your parishioners to attend the day.  Posters and booking forms are enclosed.  Drinks will be provided but you do need to bring a packed lunch.  There is no charge for the day but there will be an opportunity to make a donation to help defray costs.
