Five-A-Side Football Tournament. September 30^th

The annual Hallam Five A Side Football Tournament took place at PowerLeague on Saturday 30 September 2006.

Two teams from St Joseph’s Handsworth; Three teams from  Notre Dame Sheffield namely Confused.com; Dynamo knights and Notre Hearts, and Two teams from  St Albans Denaby, took part in a  very enjoyable and sporting event which left everyone looking forward to next year's event.

St Albans topped the bill this year with a clean sweep, being the winners in both the 10-13 (Years 6 to 8) and 13-16 (Years 9 to 11) age groups. A fantastic well done to them and to everyone who took part.

A big thank you to the parents and youth group leaders who without their help and support this event would not have been possible. A special thank you to Irma Kennedy who organised the event and ensured everything ran smoothly on the day.

The next tournament is scheduled for May 2007… you have to be in it to win it!
